The Nike SB x NBA Collection draws from basketball’s enduring influence on skateboarding. Highlighting classic silhouettes, the collection unites two cultures with distinct crossovers in style and function — a fact skaters themselves know well.
The collaboration features both sneakers and apparel including the Nike SB x NBA Satin Bomber and the Nike SB x NBA Hoodie. Its footwear lineup includes the Nike SB Dunk Low, Nike SB Bruin, and the Nike SB Blazer to headline the collection.
“As a skateboarder, I’ve always looked at those early basketball shoes from an aesthetic standpoint—because the style was always cool—but also from a technological standpoint, because of the similarities in our need for impact and support,” says Koston.
Nike SB x NBA Collection Release Date
Look for the Nike SB x NBA Collection to release on October 13th at select retailers and Nike.com. The Pink Nike SB x NBA Bruin and Pink Nike SB x NBA Hoodie will release on December 1st. Check out the entire collaboration below.
