The Tennis Classic XL is coming back this year, giving Nike SB another older skate model to work with. Its roots go back to the Air Classic SB from 2005, which took a much older Nike tennis shoe and gave it a wider shape with extra padding made for skating.

Over the years, different versions of the Tennis Classic have come and gone. Most of the newer pairs leaned closer to the original tennis shoe, with a thinner build and less bulk. The XL goes the other way, bringing back the wider fit and padded tongue found on the early SB version.

Baroque Brown suede covers the upper on this pair, with Sail leather used for the Swoosh along the sides. A Gum Light Brown sole sits underneath, keeping the rest of the colorway pretty simple. At $95, it also lands below a lot of the current sneakers in the Nike SB lineup.
