Arguably two of the most interesting Nike SB Dunk Lows were the “What The Dunk” and “What The P-Rod” colorways.
The Nike SB Dunk Low “What The Dunk” released back in October 2007, and was the shoe that started the whole “What The” concept. It took part of the “Nothing But The Truth” campaign, which was the very first feature length skate film featuring the Nike SB Team Riders. Created from 31 different Nike SB Dunks, there was only one shoe that wasn’t available for retail, the infamous 1-of-1 eBay Dunks, which is representing on the left shoe with the Green lining.
Released during May 2021, The Nike SB Dunk Low “What The P-Rod” celebrated its longstanding partnership with Paul Rodriguez Jr., the first skateboarder to land his own signature Nike shoe. Each mismatched shoe nods to different colors, textures, and materials used from P-Rod’s signature line.
