The Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 “Varsity Red” introduces a bold addition to the coveted Jordan 4 lineup, but there’s a twist—it’s a Friends & Family exclusive, meaning it won’t hit retail shelves.

This edition brings a skate-ready edge to Michael Jordan’s fourth signature sneaker. The upper showcases smooth white leather complemented by grey suede overlays on the forefoot and quarter panels. Eye-catching Varsity Red accents dominate the molded eyelets, heel tab, and polyurethane midsole, where a visible Air-Sole unit remains intact for classic cushioning, though the forefoot unit has been removed for skate functionality.

The padded tongue features a striking red Jumpman logo, matching the pops of red seen across the shoe. The heel tab highlights the “Nike SB” branding, cementing its crossover appeal between skate culture and Jordan heritage. Completing the design is a herringbone traction outsole, fitted with gum rubber in high-wear areas to ensure optimal grip for skating.

While the “Varsity Red” colorway remains reserved for Friends & Family, sneaker enthusiasts can look forward to the public release of the “Navy” version in March 2025.
