Earlier this year, Nike debuted Paul George’s PG 3 signature shoe in a “NASA” colorway drawing inspiration from NASA’s Armstrong Building 703 in PG’s hometown of Palmdale, California and honors his mission to one day leave his footprints on the moon.
Continuing the NASA theme, Nike will be honoring the 50th Anniversary of the moon landing and future human space exploration with an upcoming released dubbed, “Apollo Missions” PG 3.
This PG3 sports a clean White upper with Metallic Gold on the Swoosh logos, and midsole that includes the famous quote by Paul Brandt that reads, “Don’t tell me the sky’s the limit when there are footprints on the moon” wrapping around the heel. The NASA logo on the heel atop an icy outsole completes the design.
