Nike is heading more seasonal with the Moon Shoe for Fall 2026, replacing the nylon upper typically associated with the silhouette with a leather upper. It adds a bit more structure to the classic 1970s track sneaker while maintaining much of the silhouette’s familiar design.

Nike revealed two colorways so far: “University Red/Black” and “Flax/Pale Ivory.” Each pair retains the classic Nike styling and Gum Medium Brown waffle outsole, one of the sneaker’s signature vintage elements.

University Red is the standout colorway of the pack, black accents help create contrast on the upper. Flax is a much more subtle colorway that meshes its brown base with Pale Ivory accents for a muted fall color scheme. Nike doesn’t do too much with the update, allowing the leather construction to speak for itself.

Look for the Nike Moon Shoe OG Leather SP in “University Red” and “Flax” to drop Fall 2026 via Nike and select retailers in women’s sizes. Pricing remains unreleased at this time. Check back for updates on images, release date and availability.
