LeBron James, still dominating the NBA, continues to expand his Nike influence beyond basketball. The Nike LeBron TR 1 stands out as a versatile cross-training shoe. Designed for high performance and sleek style, it has seen numerous exciting colorways. One of the latest editions celebrates Florida A&M University (FAMU), honoring its rich legacy and connection with Nike’s LeBron lineup.

The Nike LeBron TR 1 “FAMU” highlights the school’s iconic colors: green, orange, and cream. The cream knit upper dominates the design, covering the base, durable TPU toe cap, and laces. Green accents appear on the textured Swooshes and LeBron’s signature crown logo, adding depth to the look. Bright orange details energize the lace loops, heel tab, and outsole. The outsole features an inverted waffle traction pattern, enhancing grip and durability.

As a Nike LeBron-sponsored school, FAMU enjoys exclusive designs that honor its significance in sports and education. This “Player Exclusive” (PE) iteration, however, is not currently set for a public release. Despite this, the buzz surrounding the pair has sparked hope for a potential wider launch.

If Nike decides to open this limited edition for a broader audience, fans could expect a potential release in early 2025. For now, the Nike LeBron TR 1 “FAMU” PE celebrates the intersection of athletic innovation and cultural heritage, continuing the legacy of collaboration between Nike, LeBron James, and HBCUs.

Stay tuned for updates on this potential drop and other exclusives from the ever-expanding Nike LeBron collection.
