Jay-Z’s recent return to Yankee Stadium has brought fresh attention to Reasonable Doubt, and Nike Basketball appears to be joining the celebration with a new LeBron 23 inspired by the iconic “Watch The Throne” LeBron 9.
The original pair was created around Jay-Z and Kanye West’s 2011 collaborative album, becoming one of the most recognizable player-exclusive LeBron releases from that era. This updated version brings many of those details onto LeBron James’ latest signature model.
Black covers most of the shoe, including the molded crown-like section around the lower portion of the upper and the durable mesh panels above it. Metallic gold stands out across the Swoosh and lace hardware, while the sharp, jewel-like lace piece closely follows the design used on the LeBron 9.
Additional graphics appear across the laces and sockliner, continuing the luxury-inspired look tied to the original “Watch The Throne” theme.
The Nike LeBron 23 “Watch The Throne” has only surfaced through a single leaked image. It remains unclear whether the pair will release to the public or stay exclusive to LeBron James.
