LeBron James’ journey from teenage prodigy to global icon takes center stage again in the Nike LeBron 23 “From This Point Forward”. The design revisits his 2002 Sports Illustrated cover that boldly declared him “The Chosen One,” a moment that set the tone for his legendary career.
The sneaker arrives in White, Stadium Green, Light Smoke Grey, and Black, echoing LeBron’s St. Vincent–St. Mary high school colors. On the heel is a gold “Chosen 1” badge stitched on, alluding to the tattoo LeBron got a few days after that historic headline first ran. Details such as the floral jacquard pattern and the frosty outsole finish the narrative with subtle touches.
Nike completes the set with a graphic tee that’s got LeBron’s “L23” logo and a backsplash that itemizes a list of accomplishments throughout his entire career, from Akron to Miami and everywhere in between.
