Nike Basketball and LeBron James are set to release an upcoming Nike LeBron 17 “Graffiti” colorway inspired by the Nike LeBron 4 “Graffiti” that debuted back in 2006 and has influenced other Nike LeBron models in the past.

This offering of the Nike LeBron 17 features a White and Black Knitposite upper detailed with the signature graffiti graphics on the mudguard. Much like the LeBron 4, the shoe will come with a mini Swoosh on the collar atop a Red translucent rubber outsole.

Nike LeBron 17 Graffiti Release Date

Look for the Nike LeBron 17 “Graffiti” to release on June 25th at select retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $225 USD.

UPDATE 6/3: Originally set to release on June 5th, the Nike LeBron 17 “Graffiti” will now launch on June 25th for $225 USD via SNKRS.

UPDATE 5/15: Nike has confirmed that the “Graffiti” LeBorn 17 will release on June 5th via SNKRS for $225 USD.

“The LEBRON XVII Graffiti mashes together design cues from the memorable colorway of the LEBRON IV — one of the most underrated silhouettes in his line, according to James — and the durable support of the XVII’s Knitposite upper. The familiar graffiti-style script is back, highlighting the city in which the colorway debuted during a pop-up event in 2006.”

“I think the IVs were before their time,” says James. “The full-length Zoom unit, the Foamposite — that silhouette was crazy. It looked so different from the earlier three shoes in the line, and wearing them right before that title run in 2007 made them that much more memorable.”
