The Nike Kyrie 3 Greased Lightning PE was debuted by Kyrie Irving in Game 2 of the second round of the NBA Playoffs that was inspired by his favorite musical, Grease, and its lead character, Danny Zuko’s, car. The character was played by John Travolta who drove the 1984 Ford De Luxe Convertible.

Irving’s interest in theater began as a kid (while performing in school productions) and continues today. This Nike Kyrie 3 resembles the car from the film that comes complete with lightning detailing on the heel.
