Nike Basketball has just released a kids-only Nike Kyrie 3 Badge of Honor that pays tribute to the hard knocks all young athletes collect on the road to victory.
The timing couldn’t have been worse. The night before his first AAU championship game, a young Kyrie Irving knocked his head on the floor of a hotel pool. His game status for the next day was in doubt. A few stitches later, Irving took the court with a head bandage. Kyrie led his team to victory despite the injury.
