Nike is commemorating Kobe Bryant’s legacy and the Lunar New Year with the “Year of the Mamba” apparel collection, dropping on January 9, 2025. This limited edition line, inspired by the iconic Kobe 5 “Lunar New Year” sneakers, encapsulates Bryant’s celebrated career while embracing festive holiday themes. The collection offers a variety of apparel pieces, including long-sleeve shirts, joggers, crewnecks, and jackets.

The standout pieces are the long-sleeve shirts, available in red, black, and white, priced at $55 each. These shirts feature a minimalist Kobe logo on the chest and a striking snake-wrapped Kobe logo on the back, symbolizing Bryant’s “Black Mamba” persona. The design also incorporates five championship rings, a nod to his NBA legacy.

For those looking for cozy essentials, the collection includes joggers and crewnecks priced at $120, available in two colorways. The joggers feature embroidered Mamba details, while the crewnecks highlight intricate snake patterns running down the sleeves. Two premium jackets, retailing at $275, complete the collection, though their full details remain under wraps.

The “Year of the Mamba” collection not only celebrates Bryant’s achievements but also intertwines the essence of the Lunar New Year. All pieces will be available for purchase on Nike.com starting January 9, 2025.
