Nike has a few pairs lined up to go with the Kobe 6 “Coals” this Christmas, including a Kobe AD Protro in the same black, purple, and lime green. The AD keeps most of its color down low. From the side, you can see the purple fade into bright green around the middle of the sole.
Black covers the synthetic upper, giving the lime green Swoosh a dark background. Kobe’s Sheath logo uses that same shade of green, along with a few smaller accents. Purple is easier to pick out along the midsole, especially where the two colors start to blend.
The AD also showed up in the recent “Mamba Eternos” collection for Día de los Muertos. That lineup paired it with the Kobe 3 Low and a Dunk Low. For “Coals,” the other two pairs are a scaly Air Force 1 Low and a cleated version of the Kobe 6 that carries the holiday colors onto the football field.
The Kobe 6 “Coals” is slated for December 25, 2026. The Nike Kobe AD Protro “Coals” is expected to release alongside it, though Nike has yet to confirm a date for the AD.
