The Nike Kobe 8 Venice Beach was one of the most colorful Nike Kobe 8 colorways to release that debuted on May 25th, 2013 with a retail price tag of $140 USD.
Nike Basketball used its inspiration for this Nike Kobe 8 release from California summer’s and one of the landmarks of LA streetball- Venice Beach. The classic basketball court located in Venice Beach became popular from the film, White Men Can’t Jump starring Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson. It was only right for Nike Basketball to properly release a special edition Nike Kobe shoe inspired by the infamous outdoor courts.
How many of you still have a pretty fresh pair of the Nike Kobe 8 System “Venice Beach” in their collection? Should Nike go back and use this theme once again on Kobe Bryant’s next signature shoe, or just retro this particular pair? Let us know what you guys think in the comments section.
You can still find a few sizes available via eBay.
