The Nike Kobe 6 is inspired by Kobe Bryant’s on-cout alter ego, known as the black mamba due to it’s snake scales upper. The Nike Kobe 6 Prelude uses those snake scales and adds a distinct polyurethane “islands” detailing throughout the entire upper.

The Nike Kobe 6 Prelude celebrates Kobe’s 2011 All-Star MVP award which was won on his home court, with details that pays homage to LA and it’s surf and skate culture.
