The world was stunned to learn of the sudden and tragic death of basketball icon Kobe Bryant on Sunday, January 26th, 2020. He has had arguably one of the greatest signature sneaker lines of all-time, which included the fan favorite Nike Kobe 6 that debuted in December 2010.

One of the debut pairs was the “Black Del Sol” offering that features an all-Black texture resembling snakeskin accented by a Yellow Swoosh as well as Kobe’s signature on the molded heel panel.

Another popular release took place in 2011 as part of a large Nike collection celebrating the 35th Anniversary of Black History Month. This Kobe 6 featured a Black base with Metallic Gold accents and a colorful “BHM” printed on the heels.
