Nike Kobe 10 Elite Team

The Nike Kobe 10 Elite is built just like last year’s Elite model that is set to release on Friday, April 17th as part of Nike Basketball 2015 Elite “Team” Collection.

The Elite version of the Nike Kobe 10 features a Nike Flyknit upper construction with dynamic Flywire technology for superior strength, breathability and support. The shoe is the first Flyknit basketball shoe constructed with recycled polyester yarn – each pair is knit with the equivalent of five recycled plastic bottles. Designer Eric Avar used a high-cut silhouette for proprioception.

The Kobe 10 Elite’s dynamic traction, hybrid cushioning system (Lunarlon, Nike Zoom Air and Nike Free-inspired siping combined) and modern aesthetic result in a new standard for performance footwear.

Following the Nike Kobe 10 Elite “Team” release, the shoe will also debut in the Elevate Collection, and the Rose Gold Collection.

Check out all three colorways below and stay tuned to Sneaker Bar for further release info as it develops, including pricing.

These are still trash compared to the 8s and 9s. Better then the X lows though.

One interesting thing in the pics though. Look good, the high upper doesn’t seem to have a thick backing that the flyknit is glued to [like the 9 Elites]. You can see the tongue through the side of the high’s upper. Tells me these might fit and feel closer to flyknit chukkas than the 9 elite did. A real flyknit feel is fit/feel is much better than the faux flyknit glued-backing fit/feel of the 9s. The only glue-backed support seems to be over the achillies/back part of the high upper.

If you mix that tech with a design that appealing like the 9’s…the 11’s could be a winner, and make up for these trash X’s.

The 9’s are one of the best sneakers ever, but they were kinda stiff for flyknits. This might resolve that.
