We’ve seen LeBron and Kobe both introduce their lifestyle shoe lines this summer, now it’s time for Nike’s other signature basketball superstar, Kevin Durant, to release his own Nike Sportswear shoe. The new KD VI NSW Lifestyle QS drops at House of Hoops by Foot Locker stores this Saturday, September 14th. Dubbed “Birthday,” it wasn’t just the photo of KD wearing a polka dot shirt that inspired Nike footwear designer Jonathan Johnson-Griffin as he the created the eye-catching KD VI Lifestyle shoe. “I liked that the shot was taken at a combined party for KD, his mom, and his aunt – who he’s dancing with in the photo. I wanted the shoe to reflect the kind of guy he is: approachable and playful.” KD’s reputation as a hard-working native of Maryland’s blue collar I-95 corridor also gets a nod in his first lifestyle signature sneaker. In partnership with mall management, SELECT House of Hoops by Foot Locker stores will implement a sweepstakes ticket procedure* in order to purchase the Nike KD VI NSW Lifestyle QS “Birthday” (on sale 9/14/13 for $120). The sweepstakes ticket procedures will begin Wednesday, September 11th and end on Thursday, September 12th. If your ticket number is selected, you will be notified by phone on Friday, September 13th. These procedures are for SELECT STORES only.
