The Nike KD 7 “Clearwater” are inspired by Kevin Durant’s love of going on the road against other NBA teams. In his mind its them versus the world.

Starting with the upper it made of both hyperposite and flywire mesh technology. The hyperposite rests along the back heel of the upper in the Light Blue Lacquer colorway with what seems like flowing black brush strokes simulating the flow of water. On the inner heel of the upper is a white Nike swoosh with a stratospheric design within it. On the front half of the upper you have the flywire mesh done in a Clearwater colorway. Along the outer toe of the upper you once again have a white Nike swoosh with a stratospheric design. On the inner toe of the upper is a Clearwater vinyl layer for added strength.

Your tongue is also blue or Clearwater with black flywire lace holds. A black strap, with the “35/7” logo, extends from the inner midsole over the tongue and onto the outer foot of the upper. On the very edge of the strap are a series of 7 bumps or ridges. At the top of the tongue is glossy black “KD” logo molded onto it.
Your inside sock liner is black and your insole is in the Clearwater colorway. On the heel of your insole you have Kevin Durants signature screen printed in total orange.

At the top back heel of your upper is a triangular nylon mesh tab done in a Clearwater colorway. Moving down to the midsole it is done in the light blue lacquer colorway and extends around the perimeter of the shoe except for the front toe. On the back heel is the visible Nike Airbag unit with a total orange interior. On the outside heel of the midsole you have the words Nike Zoom.

Moving down to the midsole it is entirely done in the blue or Clearwater colorway. A stratospheric design runs throughout the entire length of the outsole. On the heel of your outsole is a silhouette of Kevin Durant’s home state of Maryland. On the inner edge of the heel are the words “Big Chucky”. In the midfoot section of the upper you have a light blue and total orange shank plate that mimic the bones in your foot. On the inner forefoot of the outsole you have the “KD” logo hidden underneath the stratospheric design.
