Kevin Durant and Nike Basketball continue their iconic collaboration with the debut of the Nike KD 18. Drawing inspiration from the rugged Nike ACG Terra Humara, this latest signature sneaker combines bold aesthetics with cutting-edge performance.

The KD 18 showcases a linear, cage-like design that reflects Durant’s Washington, D.C. roots. The sneaker features an open-holed mesh base, borrowed from the popular Vomero 5, enhancing breathability. Canvas materials wrap the heel and collar, adding durability and texture. A mix of textured TPU and rubber forms the midfoot overlay, while a sleek TPU Swoosh accents the collar.

This “Liquid Lime” colorway pops with a vibrant blend of Clear Jade and Liquid Lime, contrasted by a Black-speckled midsole. Bright Orange accents on the outsole and lace loops elevate the bold design.

Performance-wise, the KD 18 is built for serious players. It includes a forefoot Zoom Air unit for responsive cushioning, a Dot Weld heel Strobel for enhanced support, Cushlon foam for lightweight comfort, and Nike Air cushioning in the heel for added impact protection.

Nike KD 18 Release Date

The Nike KD 18 “Liquid Lime” will release on April 18, 2025, at select Nike Basketball retailers in-store, online, and on Nike.com. The retail price is set at $160 USD.
