Nike Ja 4 “Dark Mode” Releases September 4th

Published on

New images of the Nike Ja 4 “Dark Mode” show one of the first colorways expected for Ja Morant’s fourth signature shoe. The Black, Dark Grey, and Cobalt Bliss palette stays mostly in the background, putting more focus on the model’s sharp shape and heavily molded upper.

Most of the shoe comes finished in a muted dark grey, with black worked into the sculpted sections. Diamond-patterned texture covers much of the exterior and gives the Ja 4 a harder, more technical appearance than the layered builds often used on basketball shoes.

Chrome breaks up the darker finish at the midfoot. A metallic “A” lines up with the reverse Swoosh to form “JA,” carrying over the branding idea Nike introduced on the Ja 3. Small Cobalt Bliss accents add a little contrast, but the overall look remains understated.

The Nike Ja 4 “Dark Mode” is set to release September 4, 2026 through Nike.com and select Nike Basketball retailers. The retail price is $130. Check out the official photos below.
