Nike is getting deeper into hybrid training with the Hybrid Fly HYROX, a new performance model made for workouts that combine running with strength work. Official images now show the shoe in detail after its introduction earlier this summer alongside the Hybrid RN.

While both models cover similar ground, the Hybrid Fly is the more race-focused option. It’s made for hybrid events where running is broken up by sled work, burpees, lunges, and other exercises. Instead of changing footwear between stations, the idea is to have one shoe that can handle the entire event.

Some of the setup comes straight from Nike’s faster road-running models. The midsole uses ZoomX foam with a full-length carbon-fiber FlyPlate, while two Air Zoom units sit under the forefoot. It’s technology already associated with shoes like the Alphafly and Vaporfly, only here it has been adapted for more than running.

Stability and grip also play a bigger role in the Hybrid Fly. Sticky rubber covers the outsole and reaches up the sides, giving athletes more traction once they move away from straight-line running. An engineered mesh upper keeps the build lightweight, while the race-lockdown lacing system is there to hold the foot in place through different movements.

The debut colorway comes dressed in White, Black, Laser Crimson, and Geyser Grey. White and grey cover most of the shoe with black Swooshes along the sides. Laser Crimson adds the brighter contrast, showing up around the front of the midsole, Air Zoom units, and parts of the forefoot.

The Nike Hybrid Fly HYROX “Laser Crimson/Geyser Grey” releases in April 2027 in men’s and women’s sizes. Retail is set at $275.
