Nike’s Lunar New Year releases usually lean symbolic, but the Nike GT Cut 4 “Year of the Horse” keeps things restrained. Instead of loud graphics, the story is built into the materials and shape.
The molded white upper carries a smooth, sculpted look, broken up by ribbed texturing that adds movement. Light Chocolate panels run through the midfoot, giving the shoe quiet contrast rather than sharp separation. On the bottom of the shoe, Metallic Gold swaddles the midsole in a texture that’s intentional. A translucent outsole further emphasizes the bare-black Swoosh peeking through underneath.
The heel is where the theme lands cleanest. A gold horseshoe emblem replaces standard branding, tying directly to the Lunar New Year without overexplaining it.
