Nike Basketball put together a special GT Cut 3 PE for Jason Kidd, tying the pair to the girls’ AAU program that carries his name. While Kidd is now best known for coaching in the NBA, this exclusive colorway shows Nike is still finding ways to connect his legacy to the next generation of players.
The design leans into the Jason Kidd Select GBB team identity with a loud mix of neon pink, purple, black, and white. Bright pink takes over most of the upper, while purple wraps the midsole and outsole for extra contrast. White medial panels and oversized black Swooshes break up the color blocking, giving the shoe a sharp performance look that still feels built around team branding.
Personal details make this GT Cut 3 stand out even more. Kidd’s signature appears near the heel, the team logo lands on the tongue, and the insoles feature a flaming basketball graphic with “1 of 1” branding that confirms the pair’s player-exclusive status. Those touches push the shoe beyond a simple PE and make it feel like a true one-off made for the program.
In-hand images also reveal an SP25 production code, which suggests this pair was produced earlier than its public appearance might imply. That timing also explains why Nike used the now previous-generation GT Cut 3 as the base. At this point, there is no sign of a retail release, so this Jason Kidd PE looks set to remain a rare team-exclusive pair.
