Another Nike GT Cut 1 colorway has surfaced as the model continues its return to the basketball lineup. Known as the “Hot Rod,” this pair goes with a mostly black base and adds a mix of red, orange, and metallic blue across the shoe.

Most of the color comes from the sole, where red flames run along the midsole and lead into translucent orange rubber underneath. Metallic blue shows up around the angular lace panels and rear branding, giving the shoe some contrast without taking away from the darker upper.

The GT Cut 1 originally built a following for its low-to-the-ground setup and responsive feel, and Nike has continued bringing the model back alongside newer Greater Than releases. The retro also arrives while the line moves ahead with models including the GT Cut 4, GT Future, GT Flight, and GT Force.

So far, the Nike GT Cut 1 “Hot Rod” has appeared through Nike’s overseas channels in an EP version. A U.S. release date has yet to be announced.
