Gold takes over the Nike Giannis Freak 8 for one of the bolder colorways planned for Giannis Antetokounmpo’s latest signature model. Dubbed “Metallic Gold,” the upcoming pair covers most of the shoe in the shiny finish while keeping the rest of the design fairly simple.

The textured synthetic upper is dressed almost entirely in Metallic Gold, with the color extending down into the sculpted sections of the midsole. Gold also lands on the Swooshes along the lateral and medial sides, along with the Zeus-inspired tongue and the GA logo on the heel tab.

Black appears around the throat and ankle collar, adding some contrast against the mostly gold upper. Underneath, a translucent outsole rounds out the design and keeps the bottom of the shoe from adding another heavy block of color.

The Nike Giannis Freak 8 “Metallic Gold” will release during Fall 2026 in men’s sizing. The retail price is set at $115.
