Giannis Antetokounmpo’s next signature shoe is beginning to take shape with a bold new Nike Giannis Freak 8 “Black/Laser Orange” colorway. The pair arrives with a fiery look that matches the explosive style tied to the former MVP’s game.

Black mesh builds the upper, while molded side panels add texture and structure across the shoe. Bright Laser Orange and red gradient details wrap the midsole, creating a lava-like effect around the base. Metallic Gold Swooshes add contrast, while Giannis branding appears on the tongue in a bold Volt finish.

The Nike Giannis Freak 8 also introduces a more sculpted design language than past models. Its curved sole unit features layered ridges that flow into the upper, giving the shoe a fast, aggressive shape. Early tech details point to ReactX cushioning, adding another performance-focused update to Giannis’ latest Nike Basketball model.

The Nike Giannis Freak 8 “Black/Laser Orange” will release in September 2026 at select Nike Basketball retailers and Nike.com. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price tag is set at $115 USD.
