A more textured take on a familiar staple is on the way for Summer 2026, with Nike giving the Dunk Low a layered finish that feels more considered than usual. Built in a Pencil Point, Dark Obsidian, Steam, and Mineral Slate palette, the Nike Dunk Low Retro SE “Pencil Point” mixes muted tones with sharper contrast lines for a look that leans understated but still stands out.
A lot of that comes from the construction of the shoe. The upper begins with a tough grey canvas canvas material, dark nubuck overlays add substance to the toe, eyestays, and heel. Bright blue stitch lines define each panel. Suede Swooshes introduce another soft element, and the heel incorporates a ribbed woven material that lends the entire pair a more handmade feel.
The lighter green details on the lining, heel tab, and insole prevent the darker upper from becoming too flat. Underfoot, a Sail midsole adds a slightly aged touch, while the translucent icy outsole gives the design a cleaner final layer. That blend of canvas, nubuck, suede, and woven fabric makes this release feel a bit more elevated than a standard Dunk drop.
