Nike Terminates Manny Pacquiao’s Contract Over Anti-Gay Comments

Manny Pacquiao has been a long-time Nike athlete for majority of his career, but recently the Filipino superstar made some anti-gay comments that didn’t sit well with the Swoosh.

Nike is a huge supporter of LGBT rights, and with Pacquiao’s recent comments, Nike has officially terminated their contract with PacMan.

Here is the official statement from Nike: “We find Manny Pacquiao’s comments abhorrent. Nike strongly opposes discrimination of any kind and has a long history of supporting and standing up for the rights of the LGBT community.” “We no longer have a relationship with Manny Pacquiao.”
