The Nike Air Zoom M9 is coming back under the Cryoshot banner, reconnecting the model with Mia Hamm and the USWNT’s 1999 World Cup win. It was Hamm’s signature cleat at the time, and the new release keeps most of that original identity intact.

Part of the Nike Alpha Project, the Air Zoom M9 first arrived in 1999. Hamm had already won a World Cup with the United States in 1991 before helping the team do it again eight years later. She also earned two FIFA World Player of the Year awards and was inducted into several Halls of Fame over the course of her career.

The Cryoshot M9 comes in black leather with carbon fiber-style sections along the sides. White is used on the Swooshes and heel panel, while Hamm’s logo is placed on the back tab. Red studs show through the clear TPU frame beneath the shoe.

The Nike Cryoshot M9 “Mia Hamm” will release in 2027 through Nike and select retailers for $200.
