Nike’ new Comfort Ride EasyOn is all about comfort all day long, with updated cushioning and easy on, easy off.
The Duralon outsole is softer and stretchier than typical rubber, and works in tandem with the EVA foam midsole. Cushioning “pucks” on the forefoot, mid-foot, and heel lend this sneaker a sleek and supple feel that’s more cloud city than concrete jungle.
Nike has not highlighted this level of bespoke comfort since the Downshifter line, but the EasyOn goes a step further with hands-free convenience. The padded upper is a mix of soft cushioning and ventilation for a breathable balance of airflow and structure, and an adaptive mid-foot system for a supportive steady stride. But the showstopper is the EasyOn Tailgate heel, which collapses for hands-free on and off with zero fuss. It’s designed for the modern run-walk athlete.
