Caitlin Clark has shown off another Nike Caitlin 1, this time in a yellow and black colorway that immediately brings her Iowa Hawkeyes days to mind.
The new player exclusive features a bright yellow upper that fades into black along the lower portion of the shoe. Black continues across the midsole, giving the pair a simple two-tone look that closely matches the colors Clark wore throughout her college career at Iowa.
There’s also a new detail on the tongues. Clark’s familiar double-C logo appears on the right shoe, while the left introduces a location pin graphic. The symbol looks similar to a map marker and could be another reference to Clark’s ability to score from well beyond the three-point line.
Clark personally previewed the colorway through Instagram Stories, continuing the steady run of Caitlin 1 PEs that have surfaced ahead of her signature shoe’s wider rollout.
For now, the yellow and black Nike Caitlin 1 appears to be a PE made specifically for Clark. A public release has yet to be announced.
