Devin Booker Debuts Nike Book 2 “Just Don” PE in Black

Devin Booker brought out another version of the Nike Book 2 “Just Don” before the Phoenix Suns’ preseason game against the Chicago Bulls, this time wearing the shoe in a mostly black colorway.

The Book 2 “Just Don” first released earlier this year as a nod to Don C’s Air Jordan 2 collaboration. Ben Kirschner designed the Book 2 version, carrying over details that made the original Jordan 2 stand out, including the quilted upper and premium leather construction.

Booker’s latest pair keeps the same general look but switches almost everything to black. Orange is used on the outsole, giving the shoe a small hit of color against the darker upper.

Jordan Brand never released a black Just Don x Air Jordan 2 to the public, although Kirschner did create an unreleased version with black quilted leather, a white midsole, and gold hardware. He was also involved with other unreleased Just Don designs, including an all-gold pair and a rare 14k version.

The black Nike Book 2 “Just Don” continues the way Booker’s signature line has pulled ideas from older basketball shoes and unreleased concepts. For now, this version remains a player-exclusive sample with no public release announced.
