Published on

Devin Booker recently showcased the Nike Book 1 “Kentucky Home” PE during the January 4th, 2025 Suns vs. Pacers game, further cementing its place in sneaker lore. Originally unveiled in November 2024, this Wildcats-inspired colorway pays homage to Booker’s unforgettable stint at the University of Kentucky.

The “Kentucky Home” colorway features a clean white upper with rich blue accents that nod to Kentucky’s iconic team colors. Special details include “Chapter One” printed on the heel pull tab, representing the start of Booker’s basketball journey, and a Wildcats emblem on the heel, symbolizing his college pride. This player-exclusive sneaker celebrates Booker’s breakout 2014-2015 season with the Wildcats, where he became a scoring sensation despite never starting a game.

The Nike Book 1 has become a notable presence in college basketball, with team-exclusive colorways for programs like Michigan State, USC, Arizona, and Missouri. Yet, the Kentucky edition stands out due to its connection to Booker’s legacy and the school’s rich basketball heritage.

While the Nike Book 1 “Kentucky Home” PE remains exclusive, Nike continues to expand the Book 1 lineup. The recently launched “Sedona/Text” pair is available now on Nike.com, with more colorways expected throughout the 2024-2025 season.

For fans of Devin Booker and sneaker enthusiasts alike, the Book 1 “Kentucky Home” PE is a meaningful nod to his rise from college standout to NBA superstar. Keep an eye out for future drops as the Book 1 series continues to evolve.
