The shoe that started the Kanye West sneaker madness was the Nike Air Yeezy in the “Zen Grey” colorway that released on April 4th, 2009. It was Ye’s first shoe to release with Nike.

Dressed in a combination of Zen Grey and Light Charcoal color scheme that was highlighted with vibrant Orange and Pink accents. It came constructed in a mix of leather with suede on the mudguard and a patent leather strap that both featured an all-over “Y” print. A White midsole and glow-in-the-dark outsole completed this iconic design.
