The Nike Air Trainer 2 Premium “Barry Sandres” is designed to honor one of the greatest season ever played by legendary running back Barry Sanders, in 1988.
The sneaker features an Orange and Black nubuck base that pays homage to his alma mater’s rich heritage. Safari print ties both Black and Orange together finished with a Black reflective Swoosh. Barry Sander’s collegiate jersey number “21” is embroidered in Orange and Black on the heels. To cap off the inspired silhouette, special edition insoles are designed with all the stats from Barry Sanders during the impressive single season.
The Nike Air Trainer 2 “Barry Sanders” is set to release on Saturday, July 26 at select Nike Sportswear retailers, including Nike.com.
