Nike is reaching back to 2002 for the return of the Air Rift 2, a laceless follow-up to the original Air Rift from 1996. The “Summit White” colorway releases June 25, 2026, through Nike.com and select retailers for $125.

The retro preserves the model’s unusual full slip-on shape and signature split toe. A flexible Summit White upper features rows of small perforations, while breathable mesh surrounds the collar, heel, forefoot opening, and center panel. Its wide openings replace a traditional lacing system and make the shoe easy to step into.

Swan and Light Silver cover the sculpted sole unit and supporting trim, giving the mostly white design a subtle tonal finish. Ice Blue appears sparingly on the embroidered forefoot Swooshes, midfoot branding, and striped insoles. Underfoot, a lightly translucent rubber outsole carries the separated-toe construction through the bottom of the shoe.

The Air Rift 2 returns at a time when low-profile slip-ons, mules, and recovery-inspired footwear remain prominent across Nike’s lifestyle lineup. Its early-2000s build offers a more technical alternative without changing the features that made the original release distinctive.
