Designed by industry veteran Sean McDowell, and released in 1998, the Air Max Plus debuted Tuned Air technology, which defined the era as well as those that followed. Still in rotation, Nike Sportswear is now getting ready to release its newest “Violet Dust” colorway exclusively in women’s sizing.

Dressed in a Violet Dust, High Voltage, Midnight Navy, Cool Grey, Phantom, and Black color scheme. This offering of the Nike Air Max Plus features a Violet gradient mesh upper with Grey leather mudguards and heels, Navy nubuck tongues and lace loops with Silver signature wavy TPU overlays. Yellow contrasting accents on the tongues, Swoosh logos, midfoot shank, Air Max sole unit as well as a portion underfoot. Signature “TN” branding, White laces and matching midsole atop a Black rubber outsole completes the design.
