Nike is bringing the Air Max Plus “Spider Web” back for Holiday 2026, giving one of its 2020 Halloween releases another run after staying fairly under the radar the first time around.
The shoe sticks with a Black and Limelight color setup, using the darker base to frame the brighter TPU cage across the upper. Grey spider web graphics are worked into the mudguard and synthetic leather spine panels, so the theme is obvious up close without turning the whole design into a costume sneaker.
Glow-in-the-dark detailing does most of the heavy lifting here. The Limelight overlays light up across the upper, while parts of the outsole carry the same effect. It fits the Air Max Plus well, especially since Sean McDowell’s 1998 runner has always had enough attitude for louder seasonal treatments.
Compared to some of Nike’s more obvious Halloween pairs, this one feels a little more tucked away in the archive. That also makes the return more interesting for Air Max Plus fans who missed the 2020 release or prefer themed sneakers that still look wearable after October.
The Nike Air Max Plus “Spider Web” is expected to release during Holiday 2026 at Nike.com and select retailers for $170 USD.
