Nike’s Air Max Plus is back with serious attitude. Set to release in Fall 2025, the latest “Obsidian” colorway blends heritage tech with a statement look. A dark navy base sets the tone, hitting the upper, tongue, lining, and key panels from heel to toe.

Clear TPU cages overlay the design, letting the oversized “Tuned Air” branding do the talking. The standout text fades from Glacier Blue to Comet Blue, nodding to the original model’s iconic gradient styling. Designed by Sean McDowell in the late ’90s, the Air Max Plus has always pushed boundaries—and this pair keeps that legacy alive.

Pull laces replace the usual round style for a sportier touch, also dipped in Glacier Blue to match the midfoot shank and visible Air units below. A clean white midsole contrasts with the black outsole, rounding it out.

The Nike Air Max Plus “Obsidian” will drop in Fall 2025 for $190 USD through Nike.com and select retailers.
