The Nike Air Max Phenomena “Black” is an edgy take on classic loafer design with an Air Max upgrade.

The shoe is dressed in tumbled black leather and stands on a thick strap that pulls the design up-market. A Metallic Gold Swoosh is stamped across the strap for extra detail, while Pink Foam Air branding is printed in-sole. Heel pull tabs finish off the detail, which otherwise keeps the silhouette minimal.

A Smoke Grey midsole frames the visible Air units in the heel and forefoot for a design detail that Air Max purists will notice immediately. The grippy outsole is rugged for versatility beyond the city streets, and the interplay between luxury and functionality is a welcome evolution of prior Air Max endeavors.

The Nike Air Max Phenomena “Black” is due Fall 2025 through Nike.com and select retail locations for $165 USD.
