The Nike Air Max Goadome shows up here looking nothing like the pair most people remember.

This pony-hair upper hits you right away. It’s got that soft, brushed texture that almost feels too dressed up for an ACG boot, but somehow it works. The panels flow from front to back, and the finish gives the whole thing this quiet, rich look you don’t usually get on something this rugged.

Under all that, the Goadome stays the same. The outsole is still chunky and loud, the kind that grabs the ground instead of just sitting on it. The Air units through the midsole mellow everything out, so it never feels stiff. The little embroidered Swoosh on the side feels like a small flex, and the all-black setup lets the shape breathe a bit more. The collar looks extra padded too, probably because the texture exaggerates every curve.

Nike’s dropping this pair alongside the “Cow Print” colorway on December 11th for $230. Pairs will be available here through Nike.com.
