The Nike Air Max Dolce is getting another retro in 2026, this time bringing back the original “Black/Sport Red” colorway from 2002. Made in women’s sizing, the early-2000s Air Max returns with the same low-cut shape that gave the Dolce a much different look from Nike’s traditional running models.

Almost everything above the sole comes dressed in black, including the upper, laces, and surrounding details. The Dolce was designed with a slimmer, more formal profile than most Air Max sneakers, borrowing some of its shape from a loafer while still working visible Air cushioning into the heel.

Most of the color sits below the upper. Sport Red appears through the Air unit and covers portions of the outsole, breaking up the otherwise black design. The layout follows the original 2002 release rather than updating the shoe with a new color arrangement.

The Nike Air Max Dolce “Black/Sport Red” will return during Fall/Winter 2026 in women’s sizes. Retail price is set at $170.
