Nike Air Max 97 “Nintendo 64” Release Date

Nike Sportswear will be releasing an upcoming Air Max 97 that comes inspired by the classic gaming console, the Nintendo 64.

This nostalgic offering of the Nike Air Max 97 features a Light Grey mesh upper with matching leather overlays as as a nod to the system’s controller. Its colorful Green, Blue, Red, and Yellow, buttons are used as accents throughout the shoe.

Other notable details includes a triangle print on the mudguard to represent the Yellow buttons, “Power” and “Reset” text are present on each tongue, and “Air Max” is written in the same Nintendo font on the heel tabs. Finishing touches is found on the insole that has a special graphic paying tribute to the ESRB rating symbol found on the video game packaging.

Nike Air Max 97 Nintendo 64 Release Date

Look for the Nike Air Max 97 “Nintendo 64” to release on September 25th at select retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $170 USD.
