A lighter, more technical build gives the Air Max 95 a different feel for its upcoming “Tough Red” release. The familiar layered shape is still there, but the usual suede has been replaced with semi-translucent mesh that moves from red through darker shades toward the heel.

Black blankets the mudguard, tongue, laces, collar and midsole, tying down most of the footwear to darkness. Tough Red takes care of the upper. Brighter touches of University Red appear on the lace loops, mini Swooshes, outsole accents and visible Air cushioning. Reflective accents stripe across the sides and along the swooping curves that have made the Air Max 95 iconic since its release.

Metallic Silver appears through the center of the tongue and on the heel branding. Underfoot, the setup includes visible Air in the forefoot and the enlarged Big Bubble unit in the heel.

The Nike Air Max 95 Tech “Tough Red” comes in Black, Tough Red, Metallic Silver, and University Red. It releases overseas on July 31, 2026, through Nike.com and select retailers. A U.S. date has not been confirmed, but the expected price is $200.
