Nike Air Max 95 “Reverse Neon” SNKRS Pass Goes Live For NYC

Published on

Nike continues to celebrate the legacy of the Air Max line with a new twist on a beloved classic. The Nike Air Max 95 “Reverse Neon” reimagines the iconic “Neon” colorway by flipping the original gradient. Instead of fading from black to light grey, this version starts with white at the base and transitions to darker shades toward the top.

This colorway made its debut at a private event at the MoMA Design Store in SoHo, New York City. Nike partnered with filmmaker Ben Solomon to present a short film that highlighted the shoe’s cultural relevance in 1990s downtown New York. From ski jackets to streetwear, the Air Max 95 left a lasting impact.

Inspired by Sergio Lozano’s early sketches, this model keeps the DNA of the original while introducing new materials. Hairy suede overlays, a black mesh base, and neon Volt accents offer a fresh yet familiar vibe. Three lace sets are included, allowing for personal style right out of the box.

Though this version adds modern updates, the Reverse Neon still pays tribute to its roots. Fans of the OG design will recognize the silhouette and signature gradient—just from a different angle.

Nike Air Max 95 Reverse Neon Release Date
