Nike continues refining its Air Max heritage as the Nike Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble “Black Grape” surfaces for Spring 2026. The pair builds on the model’s recent big bubble revival, while expanding the iconic Grape theme beyond its original women’s-exclusive roots. Rather than revisiting the OG directly, Nike leans into a darker, more contemporary direction.

The familiar Grape palette remains intact, but the execution feels deliberately restrained. Court Purple and Dusty Cactus accents cut through a blacked-out foundation, adding contrast without overwhelming the design. Dusty Cactus stands out most on the oversized Air unit and lace eyelets, reinforcing the big bubble identity. Meanwhile, the Iron Grey-to-black suede gradient across the upper keeps the look grounded and cohesive.

This colorway update works as a natural extension to the Air Max 95’s larger colorway family. Previous releases like the 2010 “Alternate Grape” and 2018 “Aqua” editions proved this formula was timeless. The “Black Grape” is a more wearable addition that draws on nostalgia without sacrificing everyday versatility.
