Nike is revisiting one of its better-known Marvel-inspired releases in Summer 2027 with the return of the Air Max 95 “Human Torch” colorway.
The colorway first appeared in 2006 as part of Nike’s “Fantastic Four” pack, using the Human Torch as the reference point. For the 2027 retro, that same idea carries over through a mix of Deep Red, Orange Blaze, Varsity Maize, Max Orange, Shock Orange, and White.
Different shades of red and orange move across the Air Max 95s layered upper, creating the flame-like look tied to the character. White along the midsole gives the brighter colors some separation, while the cushioning setup has been updated with Nike’s Big Bubble Air unit instead of the version used on the original release.
Nike Air Max 95 Human Torch 2027 Release Date
The Nike Air Max 95 “Human Torch” is expected to return in Summer 2027 for $200 through select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike.com. The pair will be released as a Quickstrike, which should make it harder to find than a standard general release.
