The Nike Air Max 95 OG “Comet Red” will return in 2026 with the OG Big Bubble. Released in 1995 and only retroed twice (2003 and 2010), this upcoming drop will mark the third release in 30 years.
According to @bubblekoppe, this 2026 retro will closely resemble Sergio Lozano’s original design. Expect the iconic-signature grey gradient upper, large Comet Red accents, white mesh, and black sole unit. One key detail was added back for this reissue: the PSI markings on the Air unit that OG pairs have but were missing from past retros.
The “Comet Red” colorway is especially loved in Air Max history. An aggressive design on one of Nike’s earliest Big Bubbles was part of what made the 95 a global cult sneaker, with this specific colorway being a grail in Japan. A regional drop in 2021 paid tribute to that success, but the upcoming release is looking for full global distribution.

Nike Air Max 95 OG Comet 2026 Release Date
The Nike Air Max 95 OG “Comet Red” is slated to release in Summer 2026 at select retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $200 USD.
